Saturday, July 7, 2007, 11:45 p.m.  Just finished watching all of the recaps of the Pepsi 400 and the finish was about as good as it gets.....Okay, we are changing this to a Blog, rather than a Daily Blog. When we began this, we had all good intentions to maintain it daily but preparations for Game Show Congress 6 just bogged us down in the midst of a lot of other summer responsibilities.....I do believe we're going to have two memorable video tributes to Bob Stewart and Wink Martindale. Mr. Stewart's will include clips of at least 90 celebrities who have played his games over the years with some classic highlights from Password, To Tell the Truth and The Price Is Right. Wink's includes some surprise footage that has never been shown nationally before....A fantastic addition this year is the live webcast of next Sunday's Legends Luncheon for those of you who cannot attend. Stu Shostak and Ronnie Paul will be a terrific co-hosting team and you'll love Ronnie's personality and energy if you've never heard him before. Stu may sing the theme from "Hootenanny" during lulls in the action....In going through about 65 hours of tape for these two videos, I came across some of the most spontaneously funny moments, some of which I had forgotten. These things would serve as a textbook on how to do it right for any current game show producer....Looking forward to seeing Betsy Palmer and Ann Cullen again. Betsy was a delight to everyone last year at GSC and Ann was a great source of encouragement to me personally last year in the loss of my closest friend Jim Blalock....The theme of this year's luncheon is "Celebration and Surprises."
