AT A TREK WITH A GAME Wednesday night, in the game's first outing in its 8 p.m. time slot, the 5.2/9 rating was a respectable second to the 6.1/11 rating for CBS's Jericho. NBC's Madonna two-hour special posted a disastrous 3.2/5, proving again she is not prime time material for mainline viewers. The hope ABC has for Show Me is for a steady build as an alternative to CBS's action-adventure and the uncertainty on NBC in the time slot before the return of American Idol in January. This week in Part 2, the series' executive producer Mike Nichols discusses the show's overall chances and the type of atmosphere he hopes the show will create for viewers.
